Perhaps <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"Normal-C0\">because of<\/span><span class=\"Normal-C\"> the lack of amenities such as a shop or pub, village individuals work hard to foster \u2018togetherness\u2019 and a considerable number of clubs, sports, activities and social events go on in this very community minded village. The determination of Drinkstone villagers paid off in the rising from the ashes of the old 1914-18 War Memorial\/ Village Hall, a fantastic new Village Hall, which is very well used by villagers and hirers alike.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span class=\"Normal-C\">There is some of the best walking in Suffolk on the network of footpaths that cross and surround the village.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drinkstonevillage.co.uk\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/CIMG1021.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-209\" src=\"https:\/\/cranky-panini.87-106-44-18.plesk.page\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/CIMG1021-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"188\" height=\"141\" srcset=\"https:\/\/drinkstonevillage.co.uk\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/CIMG1021-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/drinkstonevillage.co.uk\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/CIMG1021.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 188px) 100vw, 188px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The village is surrounded by arable farmland.
